Scholarship

Funding your Junior Year Abroad

Junior Year Abroad is a unique feature in our curriculum. However, we are aware of, and sensitive to, the financial challenges and constraints facing some students. Therefore, we actively encourage and help students obtain a wide range of scholarships, so that they can allay financial anxieties relating to their studies and able to enjoy more extra-curricular activities while abroad. About 15% of our students received TKU exchange studentship and went abroad as TKU exchange students. In addition, we also help students apply for smaller grants from the Ministry of Education, hoping to find different resources to fund their Junior Year Abroad studies.

Notes:
Taiwanese students in this department should join the program in their junior year, and the length of their overseas study should exceed 30 weeks. Non-Taiwanese students can choose not to go abroad, in which case such a request should be applied for in writing. Only after the application is approved by the International Exchange Committee can the applicants continue their junior year on Lanyang Campus.
